Will Roberts

Tuba

Will has been studying at the Royal College of music since September 2008. He began playing the tuba age eight, playing in a number of orchestras and bands, including Stannington Brass Band, The National Youth Wind Ensemble and the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra with whom he toured to Croatia in 2005, where the orchestra played with the Bolshoi Ballet.

As well as playing the tuba, Will also sang in a number of choirs including Sheffield Cathedral Choir and Quay Voices, the youth choir of the Sage in Gateshead. Will attended both the Sage and Junior Royal Northern College of music in his last two years in secondary school.

Since joining the RCM, Will has played in the college's Symphony orchestra and Sinfonietta, along with a number of other ensembles through college, including Triumph brass.
